NETWORK OPTIMIZATION
As operators in the telecom sector continue to increase, infrastructures increase at steady proportions and subscriber base of each network also increases at encouraging rate. Operators through their business Development/Marketing units have introduced an array of product line, including other incentives to return subscriber loyalty for using their networks. Apart from airtime tariffs, promotions and free weakened calls, a critical determinant of subscriber loyalty is Quality of Service (QoS). Subscribers want to pick up their mobile stations (mobile phones), dial numbers and expect prompt response from the receiving end. If all the subscriber hears all the time is network busy or frequent dropped calls or blocked calls are experienced, they tend to loose confidence in the operator (network) and might switch over to a better network and no amount of incentives could on the network.
